1. What is the Mio app?
Mio is a speech therapy app designed to transform speech therapy into an interesting game for children.
After consulting with speech therapists, we elaborated an efficient plan of exercises and training sets for children. Mio app implements this plan in a form of the speech therapy game. By completing interactive exercises, the child receives rewards and unblocks new levels.
Also, Mio prevents the development of such problems as apraxia and dyslexia, helps children with autism, and facilitates child development.
2. How much does a subscription cost?
You can sign up for a monthly or annual subscription at a reduced cost. Whats more, App Store offers to buy a one-week subscription with a three-day trial.
3. What languages are supported?
Mio is available in English, Ukrainian, Spanish, and Russian.
4. Who can use Mio?
Mio can be used by children aged 2 to 7 and toddlers under parental supervision.
5. How does it work?
When a child sees another child doing speech therapy exercises, it encourages non-verbal repetition and rapid learning. For example, the app includes a card game called TRACTOR, which is designed to improve the pronunciation of [R] sound. If the child remembers this sound and repeats it, it will contribute to better pronunciation of the [R] sound.
Furthermore, by performing interactive exercises with animations and animal sounds, the child earns rewards and unblocks new levels. Rewards motivate the kid to unblock next levels and learn to pronounce new sounds.
6. Can I use the app on multiple devices?
Yes, you can. For this, enter your credentials in the app.
